Travel Time Decision

When I found out that I was going to be gone for 8 months,The first thing I thought was, I wont have enough bags for my shoes. (Yes ladies guys like shoes too). Well after the first trial of packing this is what I had. I had 5 bags that I was going to travel with. I called British Airways(airline Im flying on) and asked what they charged. It was free for the first bag, $50 for the 2nd bag, and $200 for each addtional bag. So I was looking at $650. That is 70% of what the ticket cost. So I had make some serious decesions what was necessity and what was luxury. In my next blog I will show you how I did.

I was so nervous when taking these pics. Its hard to describe when is taking pics of you and you know pics for show. Not like taking pictures at the bar or family picnic. This is the first of three photo shoots. So I ble to relax a little next time

fitness and training

Playing football I have learned many things about fitness and training. I owe all that Jay Schoreder and Charles Maka. They have helped form the person I;m today. I dont know what my life would have been like had I never met them.(http://www.povsport.com/)  I ask anyone who i serious about themselves, thier health and their well being, to seek out Jay and Charles. Your life will change forever.

With that being said, cause of trianing, I have been able maintain not only a high level play a certain phyique. So next venture is fitness modeling/movies/commercials etc.. I just finished my first photo shoot. In my next blog I will post the pictures from the shoot

My vision

During the off-season from football, I stay very busy. In additon to training being a teacher in Arizona, Im also the CEO of a recriotng called Recruit You Now or R.U.N. I launhced this conmpany to educate young athletes and thier parents on importance of collgiate athletics and education. Moreover how to obtain a scholarship or oppurtunity to pursue both avenues. This company is my lifes work. Being able to help a young adult achieve the dream playing collgiate sports has been the best reward I have achieved throught my years of participating in sports.

The Story

Two continents,three provinces four countries, and five states. That is where football has taken me.
After a mediocre career,by my own account, at Arizona State. The idea of playing professionally was a dream of mine. So three consecutive years of failed attempts, finally I earned an opportunity to play for the Ottawa Renegades of the Canadian Football League(CFL). After two successful years in Ottawa, I moved on to play for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. In hindsight not the greatest decision I made during my career. Not because of the team but the situation I put myself in. Make a long story short don't always chase the money. So that season I split with Saskatchewan and Calgary Stampeders. The follow season I was invited to play NFL-Europe(NFL-E). This was a feeder league for the NFL. I was chosen to play for the Rhien Fire. Here I got my first taste of Europe. I loved the people, culture and atmosphere. Unfortunately, the season did not go well as planned. We struggled and I did not get the NFL shot I had been working so hard for.After two years of teaching in Arizona, the desire to play had grown within me. So I played for the Stockton Lightening of Arena 2. This was a different game. Smaller fields, different coaching styles, always indoors. I was definitely not a fan of playing. Fortunately, I was contacted by a former NFL-E teammate. He asked me if I wanted to play football in Finland. Like most people I didn't even know they had American football there. The idea of traveling and playing got me on the plane to Finland. I helped the Porvoo Butchers win there six championship in a row. Now I'm off to play for the Baltic Hurricanes, located in Kiel,Germany. So follow me as I write my experience
